Malvern Tennis Academy Junior Development Programme
Malvern Tennis Academy runs 10 week blocks of junior tennis coaching which take place at Manor Park Club, Great Malvern. All sessions include co-ordination and movement exercises as well as tennis with the appropriate ball for the standard and age of the players. Circuits of activities are used to enhance the learning experience.
All sessions have sufficient coaches to cope with mixed standards so that players get the individual attention they need within a group framework. The appropriate red, orange or green tennis ball is used for the relevant age and standard. Red and Orange Mini Tennis Sessions take place in the two indoor courts at the Malvern & Indoor County Tennis Centre at Manor Park Club.

- Tiny Tennis for pre school children from 3 years upwards
- Red Mini Tennis for 4 – 7 year olds
- Orange Mini Tennis for 7 – 9 year olds
- Green Tennis for 10 – 12 year olds
- Teens Tennis 12 years plus
- Older Teens 14 – 16 year olds

Malvern Tennis Academy Junior Performance Programme
Performance sessions for selected players are held regularly over 12 week terms. Performance squads allow young players wanting to take their tennis to the next level the opportunity to play up to three times a week.
Fitness training is an integral part of every session as well as expert coaching, drilling and match play.
Competitive Programme
2 hour Red mini tournaments for 8 and under, 3 hour Orange Tournaments for 8 and 9 year olds and 4 hour 10U Green Tournaments are held once a month and are staged at Malvern St. James, Great Malvern.
Match play Tournaments for players over 10 years upwards with an LTA Rating are also held once a month and again these events are staged on the outdoor courts at Malvern St. James’, Great Malvern.
